This
resort was chosen as the venue for the ski and board section
at the 2002 Winter Olympics, probably because it has "The
Greatest Snow on Earth". With several resorts on one pass,
there are plenty of slopes. The former mining town is close
enough to Nevada to experience the casinos and also hosts the
Sundance Film Festival in January. On top of everything, this
resort is a must for any advanced skier, due to its famous powder
snow.
